WatchFinder ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.
Data We Collect
WatchFinder does not collect or store any personal data on external servers. All your preferences, history, liked titles, and settings are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and never transmitted to our servers.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data, such as which features you use and how often. This data cannot be used to identify you personally. You can opt out by disabling analytics in your device settings.
Third-Party Services
WatchFinder uses the TMDB (The Movie Database) API to fetch movie and TV show information. TMDB's privacy policy applies to data requests made to their service. We do not share any personal information with TMDB.
Cookies & Tracking
The app does not use cookies. On the web version, standard browser storage may be used for caching preferences locally.
Children's Privacy
WatchFinder is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
